Last night we actually had dinner at a nice Italian place called Gatto Ci Cova. It was a cute open air restaurant in Cahuita, the touristy beach town by the Jaguar Center. Our guide recommended it. They were slow bringing us the bill, so we had to drive back a ways in the dark. I do not recommend night driving. People refuse to use their headlights and people bike and walk on the road.
Things to note:
We saw a dead sloth on the side of the highway.
There are a million one lane bridges.
So far we have only used dollars, except to pay for today's restroom visit.
The humidity in the car is unreal.
