Leaving Miami

We stayed at the airport hotel (right at the airport). This morning we ate at the rooftop restaurant that overlooks the tarmac. I'd give the hotel two stars--it was clean (Amberly stayed at a place in Guatemala where we didn't sit on the toilet seat), but I'm glad we got to leave. The convenience factor was high though, as it was a hallway walk to check in. 

The flight to Costa Rica isn't too long, and we lose two time zones. Costa Rica is on CST; however, they don't follow daylight savings time. We leave here at 12:25 and get there at 1:15. 

When we get to San Jose, my goal is to buy a cheap cell phone for emergencies and local calls. Hopefully, it is not hard to get onto the highway from the airport. We will have about a four hour drive to the Sloth Sanctuary. The distance isn't far, but the roads wind through the mountains.
